Red Dead 2 Glitch Lets You Visit Guarma — It’s Exotic, Empty, and Pointless

A movie-poster-style illustration for Red Dead Redemption II features Arthur Morgan standing alone in a lush, tropical jungle. He looks confused and wary, wearing his classic cowboy outfit and hat. The background is filled with palm trees and dense greenery. Bold yellow text at the bottom reads: “WELCOME TO NOWHERE.”

Thanks to One Redditor, We Can Now Visit a Tropical Ghost Town

Thanks to a glitch discovered by a brave soul on Reddit, user 22ARuncornAvenue, (who I assume had already brushed his horse for 12 hours), you can now visit Guarma without mods.

Yes, Guarma—the exotic island from Chapter 5 that Rockstar spent exactly 38 seconds designing before they realized everyone just wanted to shoot bounty hunters in the snow.

How to Get There? Take a Wrong Turn on Purpose

All you have to do is:

  1. Start the mission "A Kind and Benevolent Despot"

  2. Go off the rails

  3. Get creative with your climbing

  4. Fall through time and space

Congratulations! You are now officially lost in a tropical hellhole with no NPCs, no missions, and no hope.

What’s There to Do in Guarma? Absolutely Bugger-All.

You can:

  • Look at trees

  • Look at more trees

  • Get mauled by wildlife

  • And quietly reflect on your life choices

It’s like a tropical vacation if your travel agent was a sadist.

Is It Worth It? No. Do It Anyway.

Look, there’s no reason to go. But that hasn’t stopped anyone in this fandom before.

You want to see the edge of Rockstar’s map?You want to breathe in the sweet scent of unfinished terrain? You want to scream “WHERE IS EVERYONE?” while riding a horse into the sea?

Then by all means. Saddle up.
