Rockstar Increases Red Dead Prices — Robbery, But Legal

So… This Happened While You Were Sleeping
Gamers across the UK and Australia woke up this morning, looked at their console store pages, and screamed.
Because Red Dead Redemption is now £29.99. Red Dead Redemption 2? A smug £59.99.
That’s right. No remake. No patch. Just more money for the same amount of cowpoke.
How Rockstar Announced It
They didn’t.
There was no tweet. No livestream. No Arthur Morgan softly whispering,
“I’m sorry, partner, but inflation hit the frontier.”
Just one day:
You had a budget.
The next: it’s been hogtied and left for dead outside the Valentine saloon.
The Internet Response Was… Predictable
Fans were not amused.
“Rockstar really out here roleplaying as Micah.”“$60 for a game where I still can’t pet the sheep properly?”“At these prices, Dutch better actually have a plan.”
Even my credit card sent me a text: “You sure about this, cowboy?”
Any Justification? Nope.
No remaster. No performance boost. No content update.Just a stealthy price hike like it’s a Blackwater scam.
Honestly, I’ve seen fewer red flags during an ambush by the O'Driscolls.
So What Now?
Wait for a sale.
Complain on Reddit (it’s tradition).
Or embrace the chaos and buy it anyway because you’re emotionally compromised and Arthur Morgan still owns your heart.
