TL;DR:

This week in GTA Online:

  • Double GTA$ & RP on FIB Files Finales – Hack, shoot, and steal your way to a payday.

  • 2X Passive Income from Garment Factory – Sit back and let the cash roll in.

  • Drift Races & Hunting Pack (Remix) – 2X Rewards – Slide, crash, repeat.

  • Merryweather Livery for DH-7 Iron Mule – Complete The Titan Job to snag it.

  • 30% Off Dinka Chavos V6 and More – Save cash, waste it on upgrades.

  • Gun Van Freebies – Homing Launcher and Grenade Launcher – because who needs sanity?

  • Showroom & Car Meet Madness – New rides, new regrets.

  • GTA+ Members – Last chance for free goodies, because you’re “special.”

Now get out there and wreak some havoc. 💥💸💀

FIB Files: Time to Cash In and Blow Stuff Up

Ah yes, the Darnell Bros Garment Factory. The kind of place that looks like it should be manufacturing polyester slacks for old men but is actually the nerve center of your new criminal empire.

Now that you’ve shaken hands with Jodi Marshall and downloaded the Darnell Inc. app on your iFruit (which is basically a glorified Fisher-Price phone), it’s time to get serious. The FIB Files Finales are paying DOUBLE GTA$ and RP this week.

This includes The Brute Force File, The Black Box File, The Fine Art File, and The Project Breakaway File. Think of them as Ocean’s Eleven but with less George Clooney and more automatic weapons.

But wait – there’s more. Complete any three finales and you’ll get a GTA$100,000 bonus. It’s like a pension plan for maniacs.

Double the Passive Income – Because Crime Pays Even When You’re Doing Nothing

Here’s a hot take: Why work when you can sit around in your sweatpants while your Garment Factory rakes in cash?

That’s right – all passive income from the Darnell Bros Garment Factory is DOUBLED through May 21.

And if you’re a GTA+ Member, you’re getting 4X. Meaning you can sit there eating cheese puffs while the cash rolls in. It’s like being Elon Musk but with slightly more integrity.

The DH-7 Iron Mule – Because Why Not Paint a Helicopter Like a Mercenary Clown Car?

Oscar Guzman is back with another job that’s about as safe as juggling chainsaws blindfolded.

Complete The Titan Job by May 21 and you’ll get the limited-edition Merryweather Security livery for the Buckingham DH-7 Iron Mule.

Now, you too can cruise through Los Santos looking like a reject from a G.I. Joe cartoon. And it’ll be delivered within 72 hours – just enough time to crash it into a freeway.

2X GTA$ & RP on Drift Races – Slide, Crash, Repeat

Ever felt the need to pretend you’re in Fast & Furious but without all the ridiculous family monologues? Well, now you can.

Drift Races are dishing out DOUBLE Rewards all week long. Take that Nissan Skyline, crank up the Drift Tuning (30% off this week), and then wrap it around a light pole because, let’s be honest, you’re going to.

Double Rewards on Hunting Pack (Remix) – Boom or Bust

Ever wondered what it’s like to drive a car that’s basically a rolling bomb? Now’s your chance.

In Hunting Pack (Remix), one team plays Defenders trying to keep the Runner’s vehicle moving. The other team plays Attackers, who are hell-bent on turning that car into a rolling fireball. It’s Mad Max meets Speed, except everyone’s a complete moron. Head to Legion Square and embrace the chaos for 2X GTA$ and RP through May 21.

30% Off the Dinka Chavos V6 – The Discount Racer for When You’re Broke

The Dinka Chavos V6 – the car that’s so forgettable it practically evaporates when you park it. But hey, it’s 30% off, so you might as well grab one, slap some neon lights on it, and pretend you’re Vin Diesel.

Discounts, Discounts, Discounts – Because You Can Never Have Too Many Terrible Investments

Let’s be real – GTA Online is like an online shopping mall for pyromaniacs. Here’s what’s on sale this week:

  • Grotti Visione (Super) – 30% off

  • Declasse Mamba (Sports Classic) – 30% off

  • Karin Sultan RS Classic (Sports) – 30% off

  • Grotti X80 Proto (Super) – 30% off

  • Karin Asterope GZ (Sedan) – 30% off

  • Albany Brigham (Muscle) – 30% off

  • Grotti Brioso 300 (Compact) – 30% off

Buy one. Or buy them all and immediately regret it.

Gun Van – Free Explosives Because Why Not?

The Gun Van is back with a fresh batch of firepower. This week, they’re practically giving away Homing Launchers and Grenade Launchers for free. Yes, FREE. So now every maniac in Los Santos will have access to military-grade weapons. What could possibly go wrong?

Also on sale:

  • El Strickler Military Rifle – Free for GTA+ Members

  • Precision Rifle – 30% off

  • Heavy Rifle – 40% off for GTA+ Members

  • Knuckle Dusters – for when you want to play the world’s most violent game of Rock, Paper, Knuckle Sandwich

Inside the LS Car Meet – The Place to Flex and Fail Spectacularly

  • Premium Test Ride: Shitzu Hakuchou Drag – Perfect for middle-aged blokes going through a crisis

  • Prize Ride: Place Top 3 in the LS Car Meet Series for four days in a row to win the Karin Hotring Everon wrapped in the 35 Cover Up Paints livery. Good luck not getting rammed off the track.

  • Test Track: Bravado Verlierer, Dewbauchee Massacro, Dewbauchee Rapid GT Cabrio – All the speed, all the carnage.

  • Lucky Wheel: Spin for a chance to win the Annis ZR350 with the Classic Annis Racing livery. Or, more likely, a t-shirt that you’ll wear once and immediately forget exists.

GTA+ Members – Final Chance to Grab the GTA+ Classics Collection

It’s the last month to grab the GTA+ Classics Collection, including the Principe Deveste Eight with a free HSW Upgrade. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a free Mammoth Patriot Mil-Spec and a matching Bigness Sketches Shirt and Jeans – because nothing says “crime lord” like a free t-shirt.

About Me
558296546_2180920959098419_5393229836138433861_n.jpg

I’m Niels Gys. Writer, gamer, and professional defender of fictional criminals. On screen only. Relax. I front JETBLACK SMILE, a rock ’n’ roll band from Belgium that sounds like bad decisions set to loud guitars. Turns out the mindset for writing about crime, chaos, and villain energy translates surprisingly well to music.

Here I run CRIMENET GAZETTE, a site dedicated to crime, heist, and villain-protagonist games, movies, and series. Not the wholesome kind. Not the heroic kind. The kind where you rob banks, make bad decisions, and enjoy every second of it.

CRIMENET exists because too much coverage is polite, bloodless, and terrified of having an opinion. Here, villains matter. Criminal fantasies are taken seriously. And mediocrity gets mocked without mercy.

I don’t do safe scores or corporate enthusiasm. I do sharp analysis, savage humor, and verdicts that feel like charge sheets. If something nails the fantasy of being dangerous, clever, or morally questionable, I’ll praise it. If it wastes your time, I’ll bury it.

CRIMENET isn’t neutral. It sides with chaos, competence, and fun.
Think less “trusted reviewer,” more “your inside man in the digital underworld.”

I’m not here to save the world.

I’m here to tell you which crimes are worth committing. 🤘
