GTA Online Weekly Update Sep 3-10: $1M Bonus & 4X CEO Money

🔄 Updated every Thursday after Rockstar’s weekly rotation. 📅 Active: September 3-10, 2026 💼 Business Rivalries Week 1: Executives

Best GTA Online Money This Week

Sell GTA$1,000,000 of Special Cargo this week.

That is the first thing that matters.

The September 3-10 Weekly Challenge rewards another GTA$1,000,000 plus the Yeti x LS Customs Tracksuit after you earn GTA$1M from Special Cargo sales.

Yes, Rockstar has finally discovered a Weekly Challenge containing an amount of money normally visible without a microscope.

The rest of the week belongs to CEOs. Special Vehicle Work pays 4X GTA$ and RP, Mixed Goods Exports pay 2X, warehouse staff source Special Cargo at 2X speed, and the Arcadius Business Center Executive Office is completely free.

Your priorities:

  1. Sell GTA$1M of Special Cargo for the GTA$1M Weekly Challenge reward

  2. Run 2X Mixed Goods Exports for GTA$100K per delivery

  3. Use 4X Special Vehicle Work if you have at least one other player

  4. Claim the Arcadius Business Center for free if you don't already have the Executive Office you want

  5. Send warehouse staff out constantly while their Special Cargo sourcing runs at 2X speed

  6. GTA+ members should continue exploiting 2X FIB Files and 2X Garment Factory passive income

  7. Keep Cayo Perico, Acid Lab, Nightclub and your normal high-income machinery operating around the temporary bonuses

This is not a Special Cargo sale multiplier week.

Instead, Rockstar has surrounded Special Cargo with so many incentives that the business has effectively been dragged into the CEO's office, given a motivational seminar and threatened with quarterly targets.

Before reorganizing your entire criminal empire around a racing playlist, remember that our Best GTA Online Solo Money Methods guide shows how to fit weekly opportunities around the businesses and heists that keep paying after Thursday has wandered off.

Want the best overall money methods?

Sell GTA$1M of Special Cargo and Get Another GTA$1M

This is the week's obvious one-time target.

Weekly Challenge

Earn:

GTA$1,000,000 from selling Special Cargo

Reward:

GTA$1,000,000

plus the:

Yeti x LS Customs Tracksuit

Importantly, Special Cargo sales themselves are not listed at 2X this week.

The giant effective payday comes from completing the challenge.

If you've already been hoarding crates, excellent. Your inability to throw anything away has finally become fiscal policy.

Sell enough stock to generate GTA$1M in revenue and collect the additional GTA$1M reward.

Money Verdict

YES. Prioritize this.

For established warehouse owners with stock available, it is easily the most important one-time money opportunity this week.

For newer CEOs, don't interpret the GTA$1M reward as an instruction to spend your entire waking life manually sourcing crates until your family reports you missing.

Use your warehouse staff.

Because conveniently...

Special Cargo Staff Source at 2X Speed

Warehouse staff are sourcing Special Cargo at double speed this week.

That makes September 3-10 particularly useful for building stock while you're making money elsewhere.

Send your warehouse technicians sourcing, leave, and do something profitable.

Come back later.

Send them again.

This is precisely how a criminal empire should operate.

If the CEO is personally carrying every cardboard box into the warehouse, you've accidentally created Amazon with more gunfire.

The faster sourcing also makes it easier to build toward the GTA$1M Weekly Challenge without spending the entire week manually grinding crates.

2X Mixed Goods Exports Pay GTA$100,000

Mixed Goods Exports are one of the cleanest little money bonuses this week.

Normally:

GTA$50,000

At 2X:

GTA$100,000

Mixed Goods become available through your Executive Office Assistant once you've used warehouse staff to source Special Cargo.

The actual job is gloriously uncomplicated:

get truck,

drive truck,

deliver truck,

receive GTA$100K.

The mission has a 48-minute cooldown, meaning it works best as periodic filler rather than something you repeatedly launch like a CEO trapped in Groundhog Day.

Money Verdict

Absolutely do these between larger activities.

GTA$100K for a straightforward delivery is exactly the sort of background money that fits into a broader grind without hijacking your entire session.

4X Special Vehicle Work Sounds Better Than It Is

Here comes the giant number.

Special Vehicle Work pays 4X GTA$ and RP.

These are the eight Import/Export-era missions built around vehicles including the Ramp Buggy, Phantom Wedge, Rocket Voltic and Ruiner 2000.

And at four times the normal reward, they're finally worth revisiting.

Just don't mistake 4X for best money in GTA Online.

Special Vehicle Work normally pays relatively modest Contact Mission-style money, and every mission requires 2-4 players. Rockstar's original update documentation confirms that player requirement.

That matters enormously.

A GTA$100K Mixed Goods Export can be done as quick solo filler.

Special Vehicle Work requires another functioning human being.

Sometimes several.

Suddenly the financial calculation has acquired childcare.

Should You Grind 4X Special Vehicle Work?

Yes, if you have a friend or crew and want some variety.

At 4X, this is the best excuse we've had in ages to revisit missions most players probably left buried somewhere underneath their Import/Export paperwork.

They're also useful if you still need the associated Special Vehicle trade prices.

But for pure solo money efficiency?

No.

Your permanent solo money businesses remain more important.

The giant 4X sign is wearing a magnificent hat. There is still a fairly ordinary payout underneath it.

Free Arcadius Business Center Executive Office

This is arguably the week's best discount, because calling 100% off a discount feels unnecessarily polite.

The Arcadius Business Center Executive Office is free through September 10.

If you're a newer player who doesn't own an Executive Office yet:

claim it.

Executive Offices unlock the CEO side of GTA Online's criminal economy, including Special Cargo and the systems being boosted throughout this week's Business Rivalries event.

Existing Office owners shouldn't automatically relocate simply because Arcadius has temporarily become free.

If you already like your Office location, congratulations. You have successfully resisted the GTA Online property market's traditional strategy of making you buy another building because somebody attached a red SALE banner to it.

Business Rivalries Is a Four-Week Event

September 3-10 is only the Executive portion of Rockstar's new Business Rivalries event.

The event will rotate through bonuses for:

  • Executives

  • Bikers

  • Gunrunners

  • Nightclub Owners

There's also a larger monthly reward.

Complete at least one Weekly Challenge during the first three weeks and you'll qualify for:

Free Penaud La Coureuse

plus a:

Free HSW Upgrade

when you play GTA Online between September 24-30.

So even if you don't care about the Yeti tracksuit, complete this week's Special Cargo challenge if you're able.

Rockstar is essentially operating a criminal loyalty card now.

Commit enough organized crime and eventually someone stamps the little box marked FREE FRENCH HATCHBACK.

GTA+ Bonuses Are Still Active

The existing monthly GTA+ benefits continue alongside this week's Executive bonuses.

Rockstar currently lists:

2X GTA$ & RP on All FIB Files

This remains the major grind benefit.

The FIB Files normally become considerably more attractive at 2X, particularly the weekly Priority File.

2X Garment Factory Passive Income

Keep collecting the Garment Factory safe while you're doing everything else.

3X GTA$, RP and LS Car Meet Rep on Drift Races

The previous weekly stacking event is over, but the underlying monthly GTA+ 3X Drift Race benefit remains active.

60% Off the Darnell Bros Garment Factory

Useful if you've been considering buying into the FIB Files.

50% Off Drift Tuning Upgrades

50% Off Terrorbyte Bureau Tech

Rockstar's current GTA+ benefits page confirms the continuing FIB Files, Garment Factory, Drift Race, Drift Tuning and Terrorbyte bonuses.

The Gallivanter Warden remains free for GTA+ members through September 9, according to Rockstar.

This Week's FIB Priority File

The Project Breakaway File

If you're a GTA+ member, this remains worth running before ordinary repeat Files because your existing 2X FIB bonus continues.

Organized theft continues operating quietly underneath Executive Week, presumably furious that the men delivering crates have received all the balloons.

2X Madrazo Hits

Madrazo Hits pay:

2X GTA$ and RP

Normally:

  • GTA$20,000 base reward

  • GTA$10,000 preferred weapon bonus

This week:

  • GTA$40,000 base

  • GTA$20,000 preferred weapon bonus

  • GTA$60,000 total if you satisfy the weapon requirement

They're daily activities and require ownership of a Bail Office.

Worth doing if they're already available to you.

Not worth reorganizing your criminal empire around.

Martin has doubled your murder fee.

Inflation comes for everyone.

3X Community Mission Series

The Community Mission Series pays:

3X GTA$ and RP

This is the week's alternative if you want to make boosted money without spending your entire evening staring at warehouse interiors.

Actual earnings vary by job, duration and performance, so there isn't a useful universal GTA$/hour figure.

Play them for boosted variety.

Don't dismantle your Nightclub because you've seen a 3X symbol.

2X Diamond Adversary Series

The Diamond Adversary Series also pays:

2X GTA$ and RP

Same basic verdict.

Useful boosted multiplayer money if you enjoy the modes.

Not the foundation of an efficient grind.

What Should You Actually Buy?

The free Arcadius Office is the standout economic offer.

Everything else depends heavily on what you actually want.

The discounted vehicles include some very appealing toys, but buying a GTA$1M car for GTA$700K has not generated GTA$300K of profit.

You have still spent GTA$700K.

This concludes CRIMENET's increasingly necessary campaign to explain retail arithmetic.

Salvage Yard Robbery Vehicles

This week's Salvage Yard targets are:

  • Gangbanger Robbery: Canis Kamacho

  • Cargo Ship Robbery: Ocelot Jugular

  • Duggan Robbery: Pfister Astron

No special Salvage Yard payout multiplier is listed.

Treat them as your normal weekly robberies rather than the centrepiece of the grind.

Gun Van Highlights

This week's Gun Van contains:

  • Precision Rifle: 50% off

  • Stun Gun

  • Railgun

  • Grenade Launcher

  • Flare Gun

  • Knife

  • Tear Gas

  • Molotovs

  • Sticky Bombs

GTA+ members receive 30% off the Stun Gun.

The Railgun remains the important inventory item if you still don't own one.

The Knife remains available for players who looked at an orbital cannon and thought:

Bit impersonal.

Requirement:

Place Top 2 in the LS Car Meet Series once.

That's wonderfully civilized by Rockstar standards.

One Top 2 finish.

No four consecutive days. No recurring custody arrangement with the LS Car Meet. Turn up, drive quickly, try not to become part of the crash investigation.

  • Pfister X-treme

Premium Deluxe Motorsport

Simeon's selection:

  • Coil Cyclone

  • Dewbauchee Vagner

  • Karin 190z

  • Överflöd Entity XF

  • Grotti Cheetah

All five Simeon vehicles are also 30% off this week.

Subtle.

Simeon has apparently discovered the revolutionary sales technique known as putting the discounted products inside the shop.

Kortz Center Heist Primary Targets

This week's Kortz Center Heist targets are:

  • Consumato

  • Stacks Study V

  • Trust

There is no special Kortz Center payout multiplier listed.

Kortz therefore stays in your normal rotation rather than becoming this week's priority.

Rob the rich if it fits your grind.

The rich have survived another Thursday without receiving a government subsidy from Rockstar.

Final Verdict

This is Executive Week, but the giant 4X bonus isn't actually the most important part.

If you already have Special Cargo stock, your first target is obvious:

sell GTA$1M and collect the GTA$1M Weekly Challenge reward.

Then build the rest of your session around the low-effort CEO bonuses.

Your priority order:

  1. Earn GTA$1M from Special Cargo sales for the GTA$1M Weekly Challenge.

  2. Run 2X Mixed Goods Exports whenever available for GTA$100K.

  3. Keep warehouse staff sourcing at 2X speed.

  4. Play 4X Special Vehicle Work if you have another player and fancy something different.

  5. Claim the free Arcadius Business Center if you need an Executive Office.

  6. GTA+ members should run The Project Breakaway File and exploit the continuing 2X FIB Files.

  7. Keep GTA+ Garment Factory passive income ticking over.

  8. Do 2X Madrazo Hits when convenient.

  9. Use 3X Community Missions or 2X Diamond Adversary Series for multiplayer variety.

  10. Keep Cayo Perico, Acid Lab, Nightclub and your permanent high-income businesses operating around all of it.

This week's clever money isn't repeatedly hammering the activity with the largest multiplication symbol.

It's using the Executive bonuses together.

Your warehouse staff source faster. Your Mixed Goods truck pays GTA$100K. Your cargo sale works toward a GTA$1M reward. Meanwhile, your permanent businesses continue producing money in the background.

In other words, Rockstar has finally created a CEO event where the optimal strategy resembles running a business.

Naturally, the business is trafficking stolen goods across Los Santos while Martin Madrazo pays you GTA$60,000 to shoot someone with the correct gun.

Management consultancy has changed.

About the Editor
Naamloos3.png

I'm Niels Gys, founder and editor of CRIMENET GAZETTE. I write about crime, heist, villain, and horror games because somebody has to separate genuine criminal masterpieces from games that couldn't organize a successful mugging.

Outside the website, I'm the frontman of JETBLACK SMILE, a Belgian rock 'n' roll band that sounds like bad decisions played through loud guitars. Turns out writing about chaos, criminals, and morally questionable life choices isn't all that different from writing songs.

I started CRIMENET because too much gaming coverage feels afraid to have an opinion. Reviews become press releases, every game is "solid," and somehow everyone leaves happy except the reader.

Not here.

CRIMENET covers crime, heist, villain and horror games, with GTA Online as one of our main ongoing beats. Not the heroic kind. The kind where you rob banks, build empires, betray your crew, or become the monster everyone else is trying to survive.

I don't do review scores. The internet already has enough people arguing whether a game deserves a 72 instead of a 71, like they're negotiating a hostage release over a single percentage point. I'd rather tell you what the game actually feels like to play and whether it's worth your time.

Every article is built on research, evidence, and an unhealthy intolerance for mediocre game design.

Strong opinions are welcome. Invented facts are not.

Think less "trusted reviewer."

More "your inside man in the digital underworld."

I'm not here to save the world.

I'm here to tell you which crimes are worth committing. 🤘
