GTA Online Brand Wars: Get GTA$2 Million for Watching Other People Work

Quick Answer
GTA Online’s Brand Wars event runs from August 13 through August 26, 2026. Link your Twitch and Rockstar Games accounts, watch participating Drops-enabled GTA Online streams, and support either Team Sprunk or Team eCola to earn branded clothing and up to GTA$2,000,000.
You do not need to win races, sell narcotics, rob a casino or persuade Lester to stop phoning you.
You watch Twitch.
Apparently the most profitable criminal activity in Los Santos this fortnight is sitting down.

Brand Wars can hand you up to GTA$2 million for watching Twitch, but eventually somebody has to commit an actual crime. Hit the current GTA Online Weekly Grind for the best 4X/3X money, GTA$250K challenge and freebies worth robbing Rockstar for this week.
Brand Wars Rewards
Reward | Requirement |
Up to GTA$2,000,000 | Earn through participating Brand Wars Twitch Drops |
Sprunk Sweatsuit | Support Team Sprunk through Twitch Drops |
eCola Tracksuit | Support Team eCola through Twitch Drops |
Sprunk Bodysuit | Free from Clothing Stores |
eCola Bodysuit | Free from Clothing Stores |
Declasse Hotring Sabre | Free from Southern San Andreas Super Autos |
Sprunk x eCola Hotring Sabre Livery | Log into GTA Online during the event |
Sprunk & eCola Vanity Plates | Log into GTA Online during the event |
The important distinction is that the GTA$2 million is a Twitch Drop reward, not a GTA$2 million mission payout. Do not wander into Freemode looking for a bloke with a green exclamation mark carrying two million dollars in a Tesco bag.
Brand loyalty is temporary. Free cars are garage property. Grab the free Declasse Hotring Sabre with our quick claim guide and save up to GTA$830,000 before Rockstar remembers capitalism exists.
How to Join Brand Wars
First, link the Twitch account you intend to use with your Rockstar Games account.
Then watch participating Drops-enabled GTA Online streams between August 13 and August 26.
You’ll choose which fizzy-drink empire receives your support, Sprunk or eCola, with the corresponding branded reward attached to that side.
Make sure the stream actually has the relevant Twitch Drop enabled. Simply watching somebody drive a stolen Zentorno into a petrol station for six hours is not necessarily participation in the event.
Is Brand Wars Worth Doing?
Yes. Absolutely.
There is effectively no GTA$ investment and the headline reward reaches GTA$2 million. Even if you have no emotional investment whatsoever in Los Santos' carbonated civil war, the money makes this one of the easiest rewards attached to the August event.
There are also several freebies available without grinding the Twitch reward itself, most notably the Declasse Hotring Sabre, normally priced at GTA$830,000.
So claim the free stuff even if choosing between Sprunk and eCola feels like being asked which multinational corporation you'd prefer tattooed onto your forehead.
CRIMENET Verdict
Worth it: YES
Maximum cash reward: GTA$2,000,000
Deadline: August 26, 2026
Brand Wars isn't really a money grind. It's free money attached to an event, which is considerably better.
Take the cash.
You can develop strong opinions about fictional soft drinks after the deposit clears.
