Fans Think GTA VI Includes Cuba After Spotting a Flag in a Screenshot

The Caribbean Conspiracy Begins
Let’s face it — Rockstar could tweet a picture of a pigeon and fans would uncover a secret island, two crime families, and a hidden message from Bigfoot.
But this time? They might actually be onto something.
In a recently surfaced screenshot from Grand Theft Auto VI, eagle-eyed fans spotted a Cuban flag fluttering atop a building. And now, the internet’s in full-on detective mode, speculating that the game could include Cuba — or at least a heavily inspired version of it — as a playable region.
What We Know (or Think We Know)
Here’s what the GTA-forensic unit has pieced together:
Flag Match: The red triangle and star? Blue and white stripes? That’s Cuba’s flag, baby.
Three Islands Teased: The screenshot shows landmasses that might represent Vice City, Bahamas-like tropics, and what fans now think could be Cuba.
Rockstar’s Style: Historically, they’ve used fictional names (e.g., Vice City for Miami), so we may see “Yara,” “San Cuervo,” or “Castillano” instead.
Perfect Crime Fuel: Cuba’s political history and geography make it a dream sandbox for smuggling missions, Cold War-style espionage, and banana republic chaos.
Is it 100% confirmed? Of course not. But if this is a sneak peek at a Cuban location, it’s the most subtle tease since Trevor wore pants.
My Take
Look, if I don’t get to speedboat from Vice City to a sun-bleached Caribbean island to make an arms deal in a rusted-out bar while “Oye Como Va” plays on the radio — then why are we even doing this?
This could be the most ambitious GTA map yet: multi-region, multi-culture, multi-ways-to-get-shot-on-a-jet-ski.
And if they don’t include Cuba? Well, someone’s modding it in by Week 2.
