🔄 Updated every Thursday after Rockstar’s Newswire post. 📅 Active: February 26, 2026 - March 5, 2026
Vertical movie-poster style image of three brightly colored drift cars sliding sideways on a wet racetrack, smoke and tire marks trailing behind them as they race closely together in a dramatic high-speed corner.

💰 WEEKLY PRIORITY (until Mar 5)

(I kick off with Daily Downtime 1–3, roll through the weeklies, and grind the Daily loop while everything cooks. Keeps the money rolling and the boredom dead. When I feel dangerous, it’s heist time.)

If you’re about to grind GTA Online like a caffeinated raccoon chasing loose change, at least do it properly.

Grab a gaming mouse with more buttons than morals, a headset that hears griefers breathing, and maybe a finger sleeve, because Rockstar clearly hates your thumbs.

BEST DISCOUNT PICKS (Feb 26–March 5)

• Weed Farm Businesses + Upgrades (40% Off) - Strong Buy (Money Infrastructure)

This directly ties into 2X Weed Sell Missions this week. Fully upgraded and sold at 2X with Money Front boost, you’re looking at ~GTA$900K+ per full sale. If you don’t own one, this is the priority buy. If you own one but cheaped out on upgrades, fix that now.

• Drift Tuning Upgrades (30% Off) – Buy (Event Synergy)

Drift Races are paying 3X this week and LS Car Meet Rep is boosted. If you're participating in Drift Week, upgrading now saves money while directly increasing your earning potential. Skip if you don’t drift.

• Dinka Jester RR (30% Off) – Buy (Competitive Tuner)

Still one of the stronger cars in the Tuner class. Works for Street Races, Tuner Contracts, and general racing use. Not flashy meta-breaking nonsense, just solid performance value at a discount.

• Bravado Gauntlet Hellfire (30% Off) – Consider (Muscle Fun)

Huge straight-line power. Loud personality. Not a precision racing machine, but extremely fun in the right hands. Buy for chaos and drag dominance, not surgical lap times.

• Declasse Drift Yosemite (30% Off) – Consider (Drift Build Option)

Niche, but this week actually gives it purpose. If you’re leaning into Drift Races and want something different from the usual Euros crowd, this is your alternative platform.

• Dinka Blista Kanjo (Free) – Take It (Free Is Free)

Zero cost. Add it to the garage. Even if it becomes permanent storage decor, free is free.

• Declasse Drift Walton L35 (Free) – Take It (Free Drift Platform)

Free drift-capable vehicle during Drift Week. Even if you never touch it again, claim it. There is no downside.

WEEKLY VEHICLE SPOTLIGHT (Feb 26–March 5)

Podium Vehicle: Benefactor Stirling GT – Buy (Free Classic Monster)

One of the strongest classics in the game. Brutal acceleration, fantastic sound, and still competitive in Sports Classic races. Winning this for free is serious value. Even if you never race it, it’s a top-tier collector piece.

• Prize Ride Vehicle: Fathom FR36 – Buy (Modern Drift Platform)

Clean modern coupe with solid handling and drift potential. Not class-dominating, but very usable and now tied into Drift Week. Placing Top 3 for four days isn’t hard if you’re consistent. Free performance car? Take it.

• Test Ride 1: Shitzu Keitora – Buy (New Content Utility)

Brand new and drift-capable. Small, weird, and surprisingly capable when tuned correctly. It won’t dominate traditional racing, but for drift builds and novelty factor, this is this week’s experimental toy.

• Test Ride 2: Vapid Dominator GT – Buy (Muscle Upgrade Option)

Now drift-tuning eligible. Strong straight-line muscle platform that actually gains new life this week. If you enjoy muscle builds with slide potential, this one makes sense.

• Test Ride 3: Dinka RT3000 – Strong Buy (Tuner Class Staple)

Already solid in tuner races, now drift-capable. Great customization depth, good balance, and genuinely competitive in the right setup. If you don’t own one yet, this is your reminder.

• Premium Test Ride: Karin Woodlander (Enhanced Only) – Conditional Buy (Niche Utility)

HSW-only SUV. Decent off-road and general-use vehicle, but not meta-defining. Worth considering if you want something different or SUV race versatility.

LUXURY AUTOS (Feb 26–March 5)

• Karin Woodlander – Conditional Buy (SUV Utility)

Large, modern SUV with solid road presence. Not built for lap records, but capable off-road and usable in SUV class races. More practical than flashy. Worth it if you want something versatile rather than competitive.

• Annis Minimus – Consider (Executive Cruiser)

Four-door executive sedan with clean lines and quiet confidence. Not a racing weapon, not a meta pick, but decent for sedan class events and general driving. Buy if you value style and practicality over leaderboard times.

PREMIUM DELUXE MOTORSPORTS  (Feb 19–Feb 26)

• Karin Calico GTF – Strong Buy (Tuner Meta)

Still one of the top dogs in the Tuner class. Excellent acceleration, strong grip when tuned properly, and genuinely competitive in Street and Tuner races. If you race tuners and don’t own one, this is priority.

• Emperor Vectre – Buy (Balanced Tuner)

Not as dominant as the Calico in pure acceleration, but more balanced and predictable. Great handling, clean styling, and very usable in competitive tuner events. Solid value pickup.

• Maibatsu Penumbra FF – Conditional Buy (Drift Option)

Decent tuner platform with drift potential this week. Not class-leading, but versatile and stylish. Also relevant if you’re running Salvage Yard content tied to it.

• Dinka Postlude – Buy (Drift Specialist)

Lightweight, responsive, and one of the better drift-focused builds when tuned correctly. This week’s drift bonuses give it actual purpose. If you enjoy sliding more than sweating lap times, this is a smart pickup.

• Annis ZR350 – Strong Buy (Tuner Icon)

Balanced, quick, and extremely customizable. Not quite Calico-tier acceleration, but very competitive overall and visually iconic. A staple tuner car that still holds up.

At this point, you’re not “playing GTA Online.”

You’re running a criminal operation with spreadsheets, cooldown timers, and existential dread.

About Me
WhatsApp Image 2025-08-19 at 04.27.47.jpeg

I’m Niels Gys. Writer, gamer, and professional defender of fictional criminals. On screen only. Relax. I front JETBLACK SMILE, a rock ’n’ roll band from Belgium that sounds like bad decisions set to loud guitars. Turns out the mindset for writing about crime, chaos, and villain energy translates surprisingly well to music.

Here I run CRIMENET GAZETTE, a site dedicated to crime, heist, and villain-protagonist games, movies, and series. Not the wholesome kind. Not the heroic kind. The kind where you rob banks, make bad decisions, and enjoy every second of it.

CRIMENET exists because too much coverage is polite, bloodless, and terrified of having an opinion. Here, villains matter. Criminal fantasies are taken seriously. And mediocrity gets mocked without mercy.

I don’t do safe scores or corporate enthusiasm. I do sharp analysis, savage humor, and verdicts that feel like charge sheets. If something nails the fantasy of being dangerous, clever, or morally questionable, I’ll praise it. If it wastes your time, I’ll bury it.

CRIMENET isn’t neutral. It sides with chaos, competence, and fun.
Think less “trusted reviewer,” more “your inside man in the digital underworld.”

I’m not here to save the world.

I’m here to tell you which crimes are worth committing. 🤘
