Quick Answer
Complete three Business Battles during the August 13–20, 2026 GTA Online event week to complete the Weekly Challenge and receive GTA$250,000.
The reward is a fixed GTA$250K bonus, making this one of the simplest guaranteed chunks of money in the current weekly rotation.
Do three Business Battles. Collect quarter of a million dollars.
For once Rockstar has produced a financial arrangement that doesn't require a flowchart, submarine or Bulgarian lunatic.

Quarter-million secured. Hit the current GTA Online Weekly Grind for the 4X and 3X money, freebies and other criminal opportunities worth exploiting before Thursday resets the evidence.
What You Need to Do
The Weekly Challenge requires:
Complete 3 Business Battles
Your reward:
GTA$250,000
Business Battles are Freemode activities that appear in populated sessions and send players after cargo or other objectives while competing against other players.
The challenge is based on completing three, so this is not a GTA$250K bonus for every Business Battle you complete.
Three completions trigger the weekly reward.
Is the GTA$250K Weekly Challenge Worth It?
Yes, provided you can get Business Battles to appear without wasting half your evening waiting for Los Santos to develop a functioning events department.
GTA$250,000 isn't spectacular endgame money by itself, but this is a bonus on top of the activity, not a business requiring millions in upfront investment.
You aren't spending GTA$2 million to unlock GTA$250K.
You're participating in three Freemode activities and receiving an extra quarter-million for finishing the checklist.
Three Business Battles proved crime still pays, but apparently honest employment is paying 3X too. Our GTA Online Odd Jobs guide compares Firefighter, Paper Route and Forklift Operator to discover whether Rockstar has finally made having a job less financially stupid than cocaine.
Combine It With This Week's 4X Freemode Bonuses
There's another reason Business Battles fit neatly into this week's Freemode-heavy rotation.
Freemode Events and Freemode Challenges are paying 4X GTA$ and RP through August 20.
Business Battles themselves shouldn't be carelessly described as receiving that same 4X multiplier.
They're relevant here because you're already spending time in Freemode waiting for the Weekly Challenge opportunities.
So when a lucrative 4X Freemode Event or Challenge appears between Business Battles, do it.
That's considerably better than standing outside your nightclub staring at the pavement while waiting for Rockstar's event scheduler to remember you exist.
Best Strategy
Don't treat the GTA$250K challenge as an isolated grind.
Stay in an active Freemode session, complete Business Battles when they appear, and take advantage of 4X Freemode Events and Challenges between them.
That turns the waiting time into potential income instead of unpaid loitering.
Once you've completed three Business Battles and received the weekly reward, there is no reason to keep grinding them specifically for another GTA$250K.
The bonus is the attraction.
CRIMENET Verdict
Reward: GTA$250,000
Requirement: Complete 3 Business Battles
Worth it: YES
It's not the week's biggest theoretical payday. Brand Wars can throw considerably more cash at you.
But GTA$250K for three completions is exactly the sort of weekly objective worth clearing while you're already in Freemode.
Take the money and leave before somebody decides the next Weekly Challenge should involve winning 14 yacht races backwards.
